Frequently Asked Questions

Get answers to the most common questions about our approach, testing, and how we can work together.

Yes. "Normal" simply means you don't meet the criteria for a medical diagnosis yet. It doesn't mean your body is functioning well. My work focuses on the stage before disease, where symptoms are real but still invisible on standard tests. Functional labs reveal hidden stress in your gut, hormones, detox pathways, immunity, and energy systems so we can correct issues early.
Doctors look for diseases. I look for dysfunction. Functional labs show how much stress your body is under, where it's compensating, and what will eventually break down if nothing changes. That's how we create a plan that is proactive, not reactive.
Yes. Health coaches usually implement a practitioner or Doctor's plan. I'm the practitioner and the coach. I run the labs, interpret them, design your protocol, and walk you through every step. No waiting and no middle person.
We look at the core systems that drive long-term health: • Hormones – your metabolism and mood depend on • Immunity – that can get overworked by inflammation and gut issues • Detoxification – that clears waste and chemical load • Digestion – that breaks down and absorbs nutrients • Energy production – that fuels your entire body Most symptoms show up when even one of these is under strain.
Lifestyle is your daily choices and rhythms – food, stress response, movement, sleep, supplements, and nervous system regulation. That's where real healing happens. Labs tell us what to work on. Your lifestyle changes how those systems work each day.
No. I recommend nutraceuticals (high-quality supplements), herbs, dietary shifts, and lifestyle strategies that work with your body, not just mask symptoms.
Healing is not linear, but most clients begin noticing improvements within the first 4–6 weeks. Full system rebalancing typically takes 3–6 months. We work at your body's pace. Some clients need more support, others transition to maintenance sooner.
Then it's time to stop guessing. Most people have tried a lot of "things" without a clear plan rooted in data. Functional testing lets us see what's really happening inside your body so we can address the core issues, not just rotate through more supplements or trends.
Absolutely. I'm not here to replace your medical care. I complement it. You can share your functional lab results and protocols with your GP or specialist. Many clients find their doctors welcome the insight and extra support.
We can start with a symptom-based protocol and basic nutrition and lifestyle support while you save for deeper testing. That said, functional labs provide the clarity and direction that speed up progress, so I always recommend prioritizing them when possible.
